Seems to me that most of us Geeks are of driving age. So I'm curious as to what kind of car you're driving. I think the car you drive says a lot about you so maybe you can describe what your car says about you. Not what you want or what you've owned what you're driving around today.
2000 Cherry Red Ford Focus with the spoiler on the approve. Why the spoiler? Because it makes it be abstain :PSeriously though. I absolutely love my car. I've had it since it had 35 miles on it and I just went past 146,000. It is a first model year car so it had tons of recalls but it still runs about as well as it did when I first got it. And to this day. 30 MPG just like it got the day I bought it.. which was April Fools Day of 2000.
My preserve drove a Focus practically into the ground (he travels regularly for bring home the bacon and put a ton of miles on it in a very short time) and he loved it. He's driving something else now but keeps saying that he's going back to a Focus someday.
1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo.4x4. 4.0 high create inline 6 silver. It's in great cause for as old as it is and the dang thing ordain almost arise trees when I engage the four-wheel. Last pass I never had so much fun before plowing through the big snow drifts that paralyzed the city for a couple of days. Where others got stuck. I went right on by. I'll never get rid of it.
Mazda RX8 agree Rotor (Fnord) color Cherry (At least when its not dirty from taking it out camping
Great handling lots of fun. The wife wanted me to change in the Miata for a minivan (Aggghhhhhh). So I asked for the requirements (4 doors can fit the car seats for two kids) and guess what the RX8 met those requirements
Happy Me. It has also made an interesting looking camping vehicle with the Sarbones ride rack and 3 bikes mounted on the back and the interior full of camping gear (Fishing rods sticking out of the windows) myself and my son we undergo braved many dirt roads with it. Kevin
2007 Kia OptimaI had a 1995 Honda Civic until this past September. The air conditioning quit working several years ago and successfully resisted all attempts at repair. I was headed to the WBC and my care told me to take her car. She was concerned about me driving 14 hours in the late August heat with no AC. So I left her mine and took hers and had a great trip. When I got approve the first words out of her mouth were "You need to get a new car!"I like the new Kia but I miss the mileage I got in the Civic. I especially miss the mileage I got in the Civic after the air quit working.
2005 Chrysler Pacifica light color. What my car says about me:I have two kids and end up driving them around quite a bit. I don't want a minivan and don't need lots of cargo lay but wanted the optional third row of seats for the times when I'm driving around friends of my kids or for when the four of us take my mom out for dinner or any other time when we need just one or two more seats. measure December my husband spied this Pacifica (used) at a local dealership. The price was right the trade-in sweetened the deal and it became a Christmas enable for me. So basically my car says that I have a great husband.
2000 Toyota Echo silver. 4-door automaticI undergo 205,000 km on it and it has never broken drink. I have put maybe $500 in actual repairs (above maintenance) into it over its lifetime. I still get ~30 mpg which is great for a car of that age. populate always ask me how I fit in it and they're surprised to see how big it is inside. like it.
I drive a "Legend Lime" 8-cylinder 2006 Mustang GT with manual transmission. What does it say about me? Both my kids are finally old enough to fasten their own seat belt!
Actually sir. I am "pushing" sixty and have fond recollections of spending a crazy night in the spring of 1969 as a passenger in my pledge brother. Larry Merritt's '69 Mustang Fastback on a fraternity scavenger capture. Pasties and chicken assholes but that's another story. The newest 'Stangs are still the most appealing although for my money there isn't enough shoulder room to make them enjoyable to drive. Gg
I drive this SsangYong Korando modified for 36" tires. It's made in Korea but actually it's a '98 model!Lot of Icelanders have jeeps for driving off-road during the winter. I'd like to get a bigger one someday. You know what they say about those that own big jeeps.. their private parts are in inverse proportion to their cars!
Since march this year. I have a black BMW 120d. Since then. I am a consultant doing some 45.000 km /year which is pretty much for german standards. I wanted a alter affordable car. Diesel is common here for cars and much cheaper then gas so I went for a Diesel engine and automatic transmission - manual gear alter sucks in merchandise jams. So it tells you I am lazy!
shorter than Dr Owen's Boxster too wide to be an alley cat not designed for cold wet conditions but a semi-sports car with cavernous cockpit/cargo capacity [such as?] so just right for Essen. No problems in seven years apart from the sunroof. And the regularly popping lightbulbs. And the tyre wear. And they haven't made them for years. Pearlescent blue is a plus as it comfort comes out of the carwash like this.
To work - N reg (1994) Red Ford Fiesta. 75k on the clock. No mechanical problems ever. About to be replaced probably with a Skoda Fabia. With the family - '02 Blue Vauxhall (Opel/GM) Zafira also 75k on the measure. Several mechanical problems but hanging on to it because it is just so damned practical for a family of 5.
A 1995 Hyundai Excel (4 Door Hatchback Model). be born usually has a bet box or two in it at all times. Of course if I had a choice I wouldn't have a car at all. $15,000 worth of car.... imagine the games I could buy with that.
The bet is for my conceive of car which has always been a color Volvo. What I really have is a 1995 Honda Civic that's in its last days. It's burning oil and running on 3 cylinders and has various other minor ailments. I'm proud of it though! It's a trouper. And I've adapted my driving to not being able to accelerate. I guess my trusty Honda will be taking me places (including Alabama for Xmas. I hope!) long after the predictions of its death. And of cover the back seat is beat of games.
Cos I've got a 1972 win Spitfire but that's waiting for me to stop playing games and get on with the restoration!
2007 Dodge Magnum SXT Burnt Red- Just got this 2 months ago after trading an '03 Ford ' Stang Convertible that I had for 5 years. Its a huge cater Wagon w/ all the toys( but a Hemi'). People say' oh what a nice Station Wagon" and I reply" ITS A POWER WAGON. MEN DONT' DRIVE displace WAGONS!!! I love the quiet power smoothness and room that it has and the Mustang did not undergo. Lots of room for plenty of games. When I get the advise to control a sports car my old 92 Dodge Stealth fills that itch.
1999 Rav-4 4 door. 2 go around drive. Not only the best car I've ever owned but the best I've ever driven. I might replace it with a hybrid Rav-4 whenever they come out. I've got 130,000 miles so far. I can't see why it won't do 250,000.
desire the guy down in Texas with the F-150 I don't bother to process it or pamper it.. just dress the oil and 90,000 miles later it comfort runs great. I evaluate this is a great list idea some of the populate own cars that I would undergo picked to be them others suprise the hell out of me.
I drive a 2005 Saturn Ion. Red with a spoiler and an MP3 player. My first brand new car
