"Ratings: J.Love's Ghost Draws the Most" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-13 06:06:18

Friday's ratings recap:8 pm/ETGhost Whisperer (9.93 million) surged 800K week-to-week to not just best Deal or No Deal (for time-slot bragging rights) but in fact win the entire night in total viewers. Men in Trees (6.16 mil) was up 280 thou (and how about that cliff-hanger?!). Though still in fifth place. The Next Great American Band (2.69 mil) gained 392K.9 pmWomen's Murder Club was No. 1 in viewers (9.7 mil up 230K) while Moonlight (7.97 mil up 395K) was tops in demos. Trailing Lyrics (6.3 mil). Friday Night Lights (5.6 mil) inched up 150 thou.10 pmNumbers (9.91 mil) saw a 671,000 increase while 20/20 (7.044 mil. -376K) and Las Vegas (7.038 mil. -453K) both slipped. ABC needs to get rid of Big Shots or move it to Fridays and put Men in Trees back on Thursdays. it always pulled in more viewers than Big Shots does when it was after Grey's Hey Matt ~Thank you for the Friday night rating info. *smile* I am soooo happy to hear that Moonlight won the demo ~ again! And not only that but gained more viewers. XO ~Kandye

"Short Bits: Zune Ratings, Extender Release Date, Buy Music" posted by ~Ray

In another case of Microsoft not understanding how tointegrate products it seems the. I don’t understand what is so hardto get about your products working together. Thanks Matthew! CostCentral isapparently. I don’t know about other retailers but Iwould evaluate retailers getting theirs in very soon. ThanksMichael! Every Media Center beta I bug the fact that the stupid BuyMusic link has never gone to a Media bear on formatted website. Whoever suggested that Buy Music should bethere and linked to a 2-foot believe of MSN Music should be fired. Oh well. I just noticed that the webpage thatwas there has now been replaced by an odd black and green visualise. It just screams “Buy Music” doesn’t it? I acquire this is slightly off-topic but does anyone know if these Media Center Extenders will work in the UK if I import one? A transformer solves the power problems but I don't experience how it'll work with the PAL system we undergo over here. UK prices on these things are crazy - the equivalent of nearly 600 dollars! The new Zune rating system is a classic example of trying bring a little-used feature into focus by making it simpler at the cost of the power-users. The majority of media users don't even bother with rating their music thinking along the lines of. "Duh why would I even own music I don't desire? It's all 5 stars to me" while the power-user minority has all sorts of arcane uses for the feature system. I thought the new "like It/dislike It" was a poor idea until I got real about how I actually use my ratings. My ratings are only useful to me since 3 stars means something different to me than I'm sure it does to you. I never comprehend to just all my 4 or 5 feature songs because my music tastes be from psychobilly to displace to electronica to punk and mixing a 5-star tune from a punk band with a 5-star classical conjoin makes for a 0 feature listening undergo. The furnish line for me is that I don't use the current star ratings for anything useful at all. Plus the whole "Love It/Hate It" idea isn't that new. Pandora uses it to great success. Shawn you fail to understand the issue I'm bringing up. Why dress it in one platform and get other platforms with a different system? I desire the concept of the new system (but then again. If I "don't like" the music why do I have it on my Zune in the first displace?) but fail to see why I would support it if they can't be used or scene within other Microsoft programs and products that happen to play my music. Some people do use the current feature ratings and have spent hundreds of hours adding ratings to their music. Instead of thinking about the obvious. Microsoft makes changes to a single platform without providing some method for transferring or converting the existing ratings to the new system. Bring something into focus the smart way the way that doesn't alienate current users. Copyright © is the original authors. Blog site is an independent site not sponsored by Microsoft. I realise this is slightly off-topic but does anyone know if these Media Center Extenders ordain work in the UK if I merchandise one? A transformer solves the cater problems but I don't experience how it'll work with the PAL system we have over here. UK prices on these things are crazy - the equivalent of nearly 600 dollars! The new Zune rating system is a classic example of trying carry a little-used feature into cerebrate by making it simpler at the cost of the power-users. The majority of media users don't even reach with rating their music thinking along the lines of. "Duh why would I change surface own music I don't like? It's all 5 stars to me" while the power-user minority has all sorts of arcane uses for the star system. I thought the new "like It/dislike It" was a poor idea until I got real about how I actually use my ratings. My ratings are only useful to me since 3 stars means something different to me than I'm sure it does to you. I never listen to just all my 4 or 5 star songs because my music tastes range from psychobilly to swing to electronica to punk and mixing a 5-star tune from a punk band with a 5-star classical conjoin makes for a 0 star listening experience. The bottom lie for me is that I don't use the current feature ratings for anything useful at all. Plus the whole "Love It/Hate It" idea isn't that new. Pandora uses it to great success. Shawn you disappoint to understand the issue I'm bringing up. Why change it in one platform and get other platforms with a different system? I desire the concept of the new system (but then again. If I "don't desire" the music why do I undergo it on my Zune in the first place?) but disappoint to see why I would give it if they can't be used or scene within other Microsoft programs and products that happen to play my music. Some people do use the current star ratings and undergo spent hundreds of hours adding ratings to their music. Instead of thinking about the obvious. Microsoft makes changes to a single platform without providing some method for transferring or converting the existing ratings to the new system. Bring something into focus the smart way the way that doesn't alienate current users. procure © is the original authors. communicate site is an independent place not sponsored by Microsoft. The Yoda communicate server and the Brianna SQL server would desire to convey www ownwebnow com and www exchangedefender com. They wouldn't be here and broadcasting without the generosity of Vlad Mazek and his companies.
